Respite In-Home Care Services
What is respite care?
We understand that caring for an elderly loved one at home can sometimes feel overwhelming. Asking for extra help can be difficult, which is why we created our in-home respite care service to provide support when it’s most needed. We also offer peace of mind through our in-home palliative care services.
Our in-home care services include:
- Consistent companionship (reading the newspaper, playing games, exercising)
- Assistance with outings (grocery shopping, medical appointments, walks)
- Help around the house (laundry, vacuuming, dusting)
- Home-based activities (cooking, baking, gardening)
- Support at social events (family gatherings, clubs, religious services)
- Personal hygiene assistance (help with washing, dressing)
- Health and well-being support (medication reminders, exercise)
- Personal administration help (forms, letters, bill payments)
How does respite care work?
We understand how important it is to build strong relationships between carers, clients, and their families. With our respite in-home care service, we take great care in matching carers with clients and their families, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and supported. Our respite care for the elderly is available 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with visits starting from just two hours or more.
Respite care is carefully arranged and managed by a dedicated Care Manager, and includes access to our emergency call-out service. Our team will work closely with you to create a personalized care package tailored to the needs of those receiving care in their own home.
